Claudia in particular falls in love with a certain statue of a small angel, and will not leave the museum until she finds out who made it. But, several days later, it disappears. Claudia drags an unwilling Jamie on a search for the statue, which leads them to Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler- an old woman who holds the answers to all of Claudia's questions. In other media - This book was adapted into a movie in 1973.
