Fravia

Fravia is a pseudonym/handle for a European hacker who is probably best known for his web archive of reverse engineering techniques and papers. Archives of the old Fravia web site still exist. He lead people from becomming 'crackers' to reversers, in the sense of software reverse engineering and as an ideology. He was strongly against advertisements, user-restrictions in software, and what he claimed to be needless software protectionism. Judging from his writings it can be concluded that he is well educated and interested in written history, language, and information theory. His principal interests are now advanced web searching techniques, e.g. how to write your own search bots, how to "cut through the web" to your targets using special search strings (webbits) or how to find music pieces or images without even knowing their name.
