Fraserwood

A small town, of 75 people, in Manitoba Canada, located in the Interlake region approximately 60 miles north of Winnipeg. It was originally named Kreuzburg but the hamlet renamed itself due to anti-German sentiments during World War I. Its name stems from the surname of the postmaster at the time - Wood and his wife's maiden name Fraser.
