Francis Cammaerts

Francis Cammaerts was a very successful SOE agent in German occupied France during World War II, responsible for setting up and organising Resistance forces reputed to be of the magnitude of 10,000. Briefly arrested by the Gestapo together with Xan Fielding. Son of Belgian Poet Emile Cammaerts. Cammaerts, Francis
