Fracture (Fanzine)

Fracture, was the first free, national, UK based fanzine. Created by a number of punk regulars, it's two editors were split between Cardiff and Leeds. It lasted 25 issues before finally calling an end to it in late 2003. There was a promise that a smaller print run zine would emerge from the ashes of Fracture, but this has so far not occurred. Fracture gave rise to Assembly Line Music, a DIY punk distro, which in turn morphed into Newest Industry, which has so far released a series of CDs and 7"s from both national and international bands. You can find more information about Fracture at their old website
