Fractal Flame
Fractal flames
are a member of the
iterated function system
class of
fractals
invented by
Scott Draves
in 1992. They differ from ordinary IFS in three ways:
Nonlinear functions instead of affine transforms.
Log-density display instead of linear or binary.
Color by structure instead of monochrome or by density.
