Fowler's Solution

Fowler's solution is a remedy (or a tonic) that was discovered in 1786 and prescribed for a range of ailments for over 150 years. Fowler's solution, also known as Kali Arsenicosum or Kali arseniatum, is a 1% solution of potassium arsenite. The chemical formula is KH2AsO4. Because of the poisonous and carcinogenic nature of arsenic inorganic compounds, Fowler's solution is dangerous in short term and prolonged use.
