Fountain Place

Fountain Place
The prismatic Fountain Place Building
The Fountain Place building in Dallas, Texas is the fifth tallest skyscraper in Dallas. Standing at a structural height of 220 meters (720 feet), it is also the 15th tallest building in Texas. The building contains 62 stories of office space. Construction was completed in 1986. The building is located at 1445 Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas, Texas. This building is known for its unique architecture which is constructed as a large, multi-faceted prism. Its various slanted sides cause the building to have a completely different profile from all directions. The building gets its name from the wide array of fountains built in a large plaza at its base. (If one were to exclude antennas and spires, Fountain Place is currently the fourth tallest building in Dallas.) Fountain Place was designed by I.M. Pei and Partners.
