Foundation For Individual Rights In Education

The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) is a group defending civil liberties in academia in the United States. Its president is Alan Charles Kors. Leonard Liggio is a member of FIRE's board of directors.
FIRE is a nonprofit educational foundation devoted to free speech, individual liberty, religious freedom, the rights of conscience, legal equality, due process, and academic freedom on our nation's campuses.
