Fort Macleod, Alberta

Fort Macleod is a community in the southeast of the province of Alberta Canada. It lies west of the larger community of Lethbridge, near the Piegan and Kainah native Reserves, and Waterton Lakes Nationial Park. It is named in honour of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Colonel James MacLeod.
