Geography Forksville is located at 41°29'28" North, 76°36'13" West (41.490979, -76.603555). According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 3.9 km² (1.5 mi²). 3.9 km² (1.5 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 147 people, 67 households, and 42 families residing in the borough. The population density is 37.6/km² (97.6/mi²). There are 94 housing units at an average density of 24.0/km² (62.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 95.24% White, 0.00% African American, 4.76% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 67 households out of which 22.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.2% are married couples living together, 6.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.3% are non-families. 29.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.19 and the average family size is 2.74.
