follow the leader (eric b. and rakim)

Follow the Leader is an famous hip-hop album released by the pioneering duo Eric B. and Rakim in. It was their second album, released one year after their very sucessfull debut album Paid in Full that was released 1987. Follow the Leader too, was a huge sucess and is today seen as one of the most influential hip-hop albums ever. Today the most remembered song in the album is Microphone Fiend in which Rakim raps a portrait about his growth and addiction to hip-hop. In 2000, Rage Against the Machine made a cover of that song.
