Flightlinux

FlightLinux is a real time operating system designed specifically for spacecraft or rather, embedded control computers in spacecraft. It has been adapted from existing Linux distributions and customized for this specific function. Though the source code for this distribution isn't available yet due to export restrictions on satellite control software, one can infer which features are used, not used and augmented, by looking at the host distribution for this real-time variant of Linux. ELKS Distribution (The Embeddable Linux Kernel Subset).
