Fletcher Stockdale

Fletcher Stockdale (1823 - 1902) was a U.S. political figure. He was Lieutenant Governor of Texas from 1863 to 1865. He was elevated to governor of Texas in late May 1865 after governor Pendleton Murrah fled from the union advance. He served for one month until Texas' surrender on June 19th.
