Flaithbheartach son of Loingsech

Biography

Flaithbheartach became High King after winning the battle of Druim Corcain. He reigned from 723 to 729 when he voluntarily resigned the high kingship to enter the monastery at Armagh, Northern Ireland where he died in 765.
