Firehouse (Band)

Firehouse is an American hair metal band that was formed in 1989. The band won the award for Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band in 1991 at the American Music Awards. Firehouse is best known for its power ballad "Love Of A Lifetime". Firehouse appeared toward the end of the "hair metal" era and its music was labelled as formulaic by many critics. Although Firehouse's hayday was over a decade ago, the band continues to tour and produce new music, their most recent album being 2003's Prime Time.
