Fire Drill Regulations In Rhode Island

Fire drills in Rhode Island schools must be conducted according to Rhode Island laws. Fire drills must be conducted in all Rhode Island schools with more than twenty-five students. In primary and secondary schools, there must be fifteen drills per school year, with eight of them in September, October, and November. Four of the total fifteen must take place with at least one exit blocked and unused. Two of these four are to be held in September and October. Fire drills should be reported to the local fire department.
