Federal Highway

Federal Highway
is a short
highway
in
New South Wales
and the
Australian Capital Territory
in
Australia
. The Federal Highway starts at its junction with the
Hume Highway
near the city of
Goulburn
. It runs about 80km south west to
Canberra
, the national capital of
Australia
. The Federal Highway runs past
Lake George
. Since
1985
a project has been operating to reconstruct the Federal Highway as a 4-lane divided highway. After 20 years this project has been almost completed.
