Farepak

Farepak has been operating since 1981 at a site in Swindon, Wiltshire. It employees 130 staff and up to 150 temporary packers during hamper production. Farepak in 2004, has a turn over 70m, mainly generated from its core business in Christmas hampers. The origins of Farepak Hampers dates back to 1935. In 1969 Bob Johnson is appointed managing director of this small Christmas savings club with 500 agents operating from a butcher shop in Peckham. 1995 Farepak purchases Kleeneze Homecare (now Kleeneze UK), the direct retailer of homewares, operating since 1923 from its site in Bristol.
