FallowfieldFallowfield is an area of the City of Manchester, England. It lies just two miles south of Manchester City Centre and is on the Wilmslow Road. The area has a very large student population due to the main accommodation centre of the University of Manchester lying right at its centre. The area has many cafes and bars and also kebab houses. Notable for the Owens Park student accommodation complex. The 1893 FA_Cup final took place in Fallowfield, at a site now occupied by the Armitage Centre, a sports facility owned by the university.
