Exegesis (Book)

Exegesis is a 8,000 page journal kept by Science Fiction writer Philip K. Dick, documenting his alleged communication with a God/VALIS/"Zebra" entity. Sections range from extensive and brilliant philosopical commentary to troubled and psychotic ramblings. Dick was a student of philosophy and religion, which has a clear impact on his writings.
