Euthanatos

Euthanatos is a fictional sect of priests, moralists, and assassins from , a game by White Wolf using the World of Darkness setting. This sect, called a tradition in the game, is the gathering of several death-cults working with other wizards, shamans, and witches of other traditions to help save humanity and the world from the relentless timetables of the Technocracy (several cabals of "scientists" working to since the 1400s to control the world through ordered reason and science), the Marauders (insane mages who craft worlds and warp realities with their delusions), and the Nephandi (corrupted mages who have sold their souls for power to beings from outside reality). The Euthanatos believe in a Wheel of Fate that dictates life, death, the karma gathered each lifetime, and reincarnation. They believe that certain persons can unbalance the Wheel for others (ie, serial killers, child molesters, drug dealers, brain-dead patients in intensive care) and those persons must be killed, to save others from the unbalance and to give those persons a chance to reincarnate with a cleaner slate. The name of the sect reflects this belief: The Good Death.
