European Route E4

European route E4 passes through Finland, Sweden and Denmark. It begins in Kemi in northern Finland, then goes south along the Gulf of Bothnia to Gvle, then on a more inland route southwards. It ends in Elsinore in Denmark after having crossed resund by ferry. In the new system of European routes, its official name is E55, but it remains signed E4 within Sweden and Finland. It is however signed E55 from Elsinore and further south. While in Sweden, this route passes through or nearby the cities
Haparanda, Lule, Skellefte, Ume, rnskldsvik, Sundsvall, Gvle, Uppsala, Stockholm, Nykping, Norrkping, Linkping, Jnkping, Ljungby, Helsingborg. European route E04
