Europe (Dinghy)

The Europe is a one person dinghy. Designed in Belgium in 1960 by Alois Roland. LOA is 11 feet (3.35 m) with a sail area of 76 square feet (7 m²). The Europe was introduced as an Olympic class in the 1992 Summer Olympics as the womens single-handed dinghy. It will be replaced by the Laser Radial in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
