Eugene Sepuya

Eugene Sepuya (born April 1, 1983 in Kampala, Uganda) is a Ugandan football (soccer) player, who currently plays forward for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. Sepuya played college soccer at Alabama A&M from 2001 to 2004, during which time he played in 59 games, scoring 41 goals and 19 assists, leading the team in scoring from 2001 to 2003. An injury that kept him out for much of the 2004 season prevented him from repeating the feat a fourth season, but despite playing only four games all season, Sepuya was selected 31st in the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft. Despite his youth, Sepuya is an important player on the Uganda national football team, with currently 8 senior caps to his name. Before attending Alabama A&M in 2001, Sepuya, at the age of 18, played for the national team during qualification for the 2002 World Cup. Sepuya, Eugene Sepuya, Eugene
