Ethelbert Woodbridge Nevin

Ethelbert Woodbridge Nevin November 25,1862 - February 17,1901 American pianist and composer. Born in Edgeworth, Pennsylvania, he debuted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1886. His musical education in Boston and Germany led him to spend most of his time in composition for piano. He died in New Haven, Connecticut. He is known primarily for the composition of the extremely familiar piano piece, Narcissus.
