Ethel Turner

Ethel Turner (1872 - 1958) was an Australian novelist and children's writer. She was born in Doncaster in England, moving to Australia as a child. Her best-known work is her first novel, Seven Little Australians (1894), which together with the sequel The Family at Misrule (1895) deals with the lives of the Woolcott family, particularly with its rebelious children.
