Erendil Of Gondor

In J. R. R. Tolkien's fictional universe of Middle-earth, Erendil was the fifth King of Gondor and son of Cemendur, he should not be confused with Erendil, the father of Elrond and Elros Tar-Minyatur. During his reign there were no significant events, which suggests a peaceful reign. He ruled Gondor for 86 years and was succeeded by his son Anardil.
