English High School Of Boston

Founded in 1821, The English High School of Boston is the oldest public high school in America. Noteworthy graduates include the financier J.P. Morgan, the architect Louis Sullivan the onetime director of the Smithsonian Institute Samuel Pierpont Langely the major-general Matthew Bunker Ridgeway, and the actor Leonard Nimoy.
