Energie Cottbus

Energie Cottbus is a German soccer club, promoted to the Bundesliga in 2000. Trained by former East Germany coach Eduard Geyer, Cottbus played three seasons on the highest level, before being relegated at the end of 20022003 season. A key player was Vasile Miriuta, an imaginative midfield player whom almost by himself was responsible for promotion.
