Endeavor is a village located in Marquette County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 440.

Geography

  is located at 43°42'57" North, 89°28'8" West (43.715813, -89.468948). 
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.8 km² (0.7 mi²). 1.7 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 8.57% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 440 people, 153 households, and 111 families residing in the village. The population density is 265.4/km² (685.3/mi²). There are 170 housing units at an average density of 102.6/km² (264.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 97.05% White, 0.23% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.23% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.45% from other races, and 2.05% from two or more races. 0.68% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 153 households out of which 47.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.6% are married couples living together, 16.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.8% are non-families. 24.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.88 and the average family size is 3.41. In the village the population is spread out with 34.8% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 16.4% from 45 to 64, and 8.2% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 30 years. For every 100 females there are 97.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 91.3 males. The median income for a household in the village is $44,063, and the median income for a family is $51,250. Males have a median income of $31,364 versus $22,750 for females. The per capita income for the village is $14,365. 8.7% of the population and 4.5% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total population, 10.5% of those under the age of 18 and 11.9% of those 65 and older are living below the poverty line.
