Encino, Los Angeles, California

Encino is a neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles, California located in the San Fernando Valley. Encino is bounded by Victory Boulevard, Mulholland Drive, Lindley Avenue and roughly by the 405 freeway. The Encino Velodrome has provided an outdoor oval bicycle racing track since 1963. Per the 2000 Census, the population of Encino was: 40,946; population density: 3,864.9 per sq. mile, population under 18: 18.25%; population Over 64: 20.08%; housing units: 18,519; land area: 10.59 square miles (27.44 square kilometers); and water area: 0.13 square miles (0.33 square kilometers)
