Emetrol

Emetrol is the brand name of an over-the-counter medicine taken for nausea relief. It is a mixture of glucose, fructose, and phosphoric acid, and comes in syrup form. Because it is not technically a drug, Emetrol is safe for children and pregnant women, and can be taken frequently during bouts of extreme nausea. It works by coating the lining of the digestive system. Emetrol is made by Pfizer, and is found near the antacids in most pharmacies. It often comes in a generic version as well.
