Elizabeth Glaser

Elizabeth Glaser, died December 3, 1994, as a result of contracting the AIDS virus during a blood transfusion in 1981. Glaser, wife of actor Paul Michael Glaser, was the co-founder of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Glaser spoke in 1992 at the Democratic National Convention and was an advocate for further public funding and attention toward preventing AIDS and HIV transmission.
