Einar BenediktssonEinar Benediktsson (1864–1940) was an Icelandic poet and lawyer. Einar was one of the men who established Landvarnarflokkurinn in 1902. He was also the editor of Dagskr from 1896 to 1898. He was a strong advocate of utilizing Iceland's natural resources. As a poet, he may be classified as a Neo-Romantic.
