Eidolon (Astral Double)

An eidolon (from Greek eidolon form, shape; a phantom-double of the human form; Latin simulacrum) is the astral double of living beings; the shade or perisprit, the kama-rupa after death before its disintegration. The phantom which can appear under certain conditions to survivors of the deceased.
