Effusion A Cappella

Effusion A Cappella is an independently run student group located at McGill University, in Montreal, Quebec Canada. Effusion performs original compositions and arrangements in a variety of styles, with particular emphasis on gospel music, r&b and pop music. Effusion was established in 1999, and since then has toured extensively in the eastern United States and throughout Canada including performances with Bobby McFerrin, singing the national anthem at Stade Olympique, and regular local concerts around Montreal. Comprised of McGill students, Effusion holds open auditions each fall, and encourages singers, beatboxers, mcs and other talented performers to contact them and schedule an audition time. There are other A Cappella groups at McGill University, including Tonal Ecstasy and Soulstice. Visit Effusion.ca for more information.
