Eduard Tubin

The composer and conductor Eduard Tubin was born June 18 1905 in Kallaste, Estonia. In 1944 he fled occupied Estonia for Sweden where he lived and worked until his death on November 17 1982. He collaborated with Neeme Jrvi. He worked with the Philadelphia Orchestra and English Chamber Orchestra (ECO). He worked with Rey Alejandro Conde Valdivia, Eduardo Mata, Neeme Jrvi, Enrique Btiz, Mu-Hai Tang, Plcido Domingo and Antal Dorti. He wrote at least ten Symphonies, Music for Strings and a Balalaika Concerto. He was influenced by Estonian folk music. Tubin, Eduard Tubin, Eduard Tubin, Eduard
