Edmund Calamy The Historian

Edmund Calamy was the son of Edmund Calamy the Younger, who was son of the Edmund Calamy described above. He was a historian of non-conformist Protestant thought in England. In his Abridgement of Baxter's History (1702), a chapter entitled "A Particular Account of the Ministers, Lecturers, Fellows of Colleges, etc., who were silenced and ejected by the Act for Unifromity" is a valuable source of information on the names of non-conformists.
