style horror to writing

E.E. "Doc" Smith
. He wrote using several pseudonyms and, in the 1950s, was the primary force behind the
Captain Future
franchise. In the mid 1940s, Hamilton became a writer for
DC Comics

Superman
title. One of his best known Superman stories was "Superman Under the Red Sun" which appeared in
Action Comics
#300 in 1963 and which has numerous elements in common with his novel
The City at World's End
(1951). In 1946, he married fellow science fiction
