Edinburgh Academy

The Edinburgh Academy is a private school that was founded in 1824 to stimulate classical learning in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Academy building, with its Greek Doric frontage, was designed by architect William Burn. The school is situated in the New Town. Pupils of note include:
