Ed Spezio

Ed Spezio is a former baseball player who played for the World Series winning 1967 St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. He also played for the San Diego Padres and the Chicago White Sox. Spezio was born Halloween night 1941, in Joliet, Illinois. His son, Scott Spezio, currently plays baseball for the Seattle Mariners of the American League. Ed Spezio's best season came in 1970 for the Padres, when he hit .285, with 12 home runs, and 42 RBIs.
