Echuu Shen-jon

Echuu Shen-Jon was a powerful Jedi Master who was trained by Mace Windu. Echuu Shen-Jon and his padawan Stam Reath were two of the many jedi who were sent to Geonosis to rescue Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Echuu survived the battle, but his padawan was killed by one of Count Dooku's Generals known as Sev'Rance Tann. The council assigned Echuu Shen-Jon a new apprentice, Naat Reath, Stam Reath's sister and they were given orders to reclaim the world of Sarapin from the Confederacy's control. They then tracked Sev'Rance Tann to the remote world of Krant, where she was overseeing the construction of a weapon stolen from the Republic known as the Decimator. After destroying the decimator facilities, Sev'Rance Tann captured Naat Reath and held her prisoner in a Confederacy base. Echuu Shen-Jon, consumed by the dark side went to rescue his padawan and slew Sev'Rance Tann. Realising what he had done Echuu Shen-Jon stayed on Krant to stop himself from being lured to the dark side of the force. A few years BBY Princess Leia's ship the Cretacian crashed on Krant. Princess Leia and her honour guard were confronted by Echuu Shen-Jon, who helped them liberate the planet so they could meet with Bothan Spies on the island of Le'Roche. With information from the Bothans, Echuu went with Leia to the asteroid of Geddes. Echuu and the rebels, with the help of a small army of Wookies led by Chewbacca's father, infiltrated an Imperial base to recover an ancient jedi artifact. Just as the Rebels reached their transports, they were intercepted by Darth Vader. Fearing what the Empire would do if they obtained the artifact, Echuu destroyed the relic and faced Darth Vader in a duel to buy the transports some time to take off. Darth Vader struck Echuu down, ending his story.
