Eastman Chemical Company

Eastman Chemical Company is a large supplier of industrial chemicals, whose main manufacturing facility is located on a large island in the Holston River in Kingsport, Tennessee. It was formerly the chemical division of the Eastman Kodak Company and known as Tennessee Eastman, but was spun off by Kodak in an effort by that company to reduce its operations to its "core" photographic businesses. Eastman Chemical is the largest industrial employer in the state of Tennessee and one its largest employers overall.
