East Farndon

East Farndon is a small village about one mile south of Market Harborough in the Daventry district of Northamptonshire, England. The village is close to the border wit Leicestershire, and has a Leicestershire post code and telephone dialing code. The church was used by King Charles I during the English Civil War as a safehouse. Occasionally the village's residents perform the traditional pagan harvest dance whereby they dress as giant sweetcorn and parade through the village in an attempt to please the gods of the fields.
