E. Pauline Johnson

Emily Pauline Johnson (March 10, 1861 - March 7, 1913) was a Canadian poetess. She was born near Brantford, Ontario and died in Vancouver, British Columbia. Today, she is usually remembered for her poetry. Her best known poem is The Song my Paddle Sings, which frequently appears in Canadian poetry anthologies.
