Dvd Shrink

DVD Shrink is a software program for backing up DVD movies, that is currently released as freeware for the Microsoft Windows platform. DVD Shrink has a simple interface, that allow the user to choose specifically which DVD elements, the user want to retain on the shrinked DVD. The program features a decryption algorithm and an encoder, and the user is also able choose how the compression is to be distributed across the movie. Once the DVD has been downsized, it is then outputted as an ISO file. However, it should should noted that the program can not burn these images itself, as it doesnt contain a built in burning engine. It can however work in conjunction with other applications that have burning functionality, such as Nero and DVD Decrypter. The latter program is also freeware.
