Dutch Language Union

The Nederlandse Taalunie or Dutch Language Union is an institution for discussing issues on the Dutch language between three partners: The Netherlands, Flanders (Dutch-speaking part of Belgium) and Suriname. It was founded in 1980. An important realization of the Union has been the modification of the Dutch orthography in 1995.
