Dutch Dehnert

Henry G. "Dutch" Dehnert (April 5, 1898 in New York, New York - April 20, 1979 in Far Rockaway, New York) was one of the best pro basketball player between 1915 and 1935. Dehnert, a bulky forward, is mostly known for his time with the Original Celtics and is sometimes credited with inventing the pivot play. He later coached several teams in the NBL, ABL and BAA.
