Dublin, OhioDublin is a city located in Delaware, Franklin, and Union counties in Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 31,392. Dublin is home to the corporate headquarters of the fast food chain, Wendy's, and was featured in the "Dublin, Ohio: Home of Wendy's" commercials. Dublin also hosts the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village each year. There is a large number of golfers in the city. Other annual events include the annual St. Patrick's Day parade, and the Dublin Irish Festival. Geography Dublin is located at 40°6'33" North, 83°8'25" West (40.109262, -83.140247). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 54.8 km² (21.1 mi²). 54.7 km² (21.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.09% water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 31,392 people, 11,209 households, and 8,675 families residing in the city. The population density is 573.9/km² (1,486.1/mi²). There are 12,038 housing units at an average density of 220.1/km² (569.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 89.66% White, 1.73% African American, 0.08% Native American, 7.36% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.20% from other races, and 0.95% from two or more races. 1.01% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 11,209 households out of which 46.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.7% are married couples living together, 5.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.6% are non-families. 18.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.80 and the average family size is 3.24. In the city the population is spread out with 32.1% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 33.4% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 5.4% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 98.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 96.4 males. The median income for a household in the city is $91,162, and the median income for a family is $104,829. Males have a median income of $75,279 versus $43,903 for females. The per capita income for the city is $41,122. 2.7% of the population and 2.1% of families are below the poverty line.
